ZOOLIGHTS

On Saturday, Joe and I went to the Lincoln Park Zoo to see its annual light display with friends.

Everyone says you have to see ZooLights if you're in Chicago for the holidays, and they weren't kidding. There were colorful, dazzling lights everywhere! My favorite display was a light show choreographed to my favorite Christmas tunes.

It was a chilly night, but it wasn't too cold to walk to the zoo along the lakefront and stay (mostly) outside for two hours. When we'd get cold, we'd pop into one of the indoor exhibits (the monkeys with their tails entwined was adorable) before going back out to see what other fun
