Two weekends ago, Lovely Roommate 2 and I went thrifting downtown!
It was lots of fun, but way more tiring than normal shopping. You never really think about it in a regular clothing store, but things there are super organized... like colors together, like sizes together, you can use the mannequins to gauge if you think something would look good on you, etc. Those don't hold in thrifting. While like items are together and arranged (mostly) by size, you have to sift through racks to find things you're into and if the sweater you try on is not the right color or if the jeans you try on are slightly too tight, there are no other colors or sizes to try, and you just move onto the next item. Nevertheless, it's incredibly fun and finding good thrifts is rather satisfying.
As for the two outfits I ended up with...
Outfit 1 :: Saint Patrick's Day Inspired
A pair of like-new J Brand Jeans for $31 (instead of $170-$210!) with an Old Navy green polka dot blouse for $6.50 (instead of $15-$20) paired with already owned jewelry, wedges, and red lipstick :).

PS: Yes. I'm a bit of a sucker for brand name clothing. Heh.
PPS: Turns out (despite any classy red lips/pearl necklace wearing), I'm tacky (like way tacky) enough to take a bunch of selfies. Yup! (Feeling a bit 14 year old girl haha) :|
