A Pit Stop In Ithaca

After spending the end of last week in the 1000 Islands, Joe came back to New York City with me! Except because six hour car rides aren't really fun, we decided we'd make a stop in Ithaca on our way back to visit our alma matter.

It was certainly good to be back on the hill. Walking around together, it felt like we never had left at all. I kept thinking that if we went to Joe's apartment, our friends would be sitting on the couch watching TV or around the kitchen table with lunches and laptops out.

We walked around the arts quad.

And then made our way back down Ho Plaza, where the iconic clock tower is.

Walking around really made me want to go back for good.
(A girl can dream, right?)

While in town, we also made a stop at CTB for lunch because no trip to Ithaca is complete without. I almost picked up a few of my usual order to take back to the city to freeze, but they had run out. (Sadface indeed.)

My usual. A "Buttermilk Bialy" (melted munster cheese, tomato, sprouts, and mustard on a bialy) and a blood orange San Pellegrino.
