The Great British Baking Show

Amie DB and I started watching The Great British Bake Off on Netflix earlier this week! The dry British humor and way of narration keep us cracking up and the desserts are impeccable (one of us almost always sneaks to the kitchen for some sort of sweet snack halfway through haha).

Despite our kitchen size and the closest grocery store marking up prices a ton, I'm determined to bake something fancy soon. Maybe actually something from a British cookbook Amie DB gave me back in high school as a birthday present. You'd think it'd be similar to a US cookbook, but all the measurements are in grams and they use words like biscuits and treacle (molasses) and sultanas (raisins).

I lit-rally cannot even. ;)
