The 2015 New York City Marathon

After going to bed super early on Halloween night (...am I cool yet? ;p), I woke up early the next morning and made it back to my apartment (aka: Mile 17 of the New York City Marathon!) just before the leading runners ran by.

The views from the fifth floor fire escape were perfection. 

I sat up there all afternoon, only venturing down to the street level when Amie DT, who I was tracking online came past. (She's so fast!)

It was a certainly a fun and festive afternoon on quiet First Avenue, which was pretty nice for a change.
