So like the past two New Years, Joe, the college friends, friends of the college friends (and friends of friends of the college friends), and I had an awesome New Year's Eve. My friend Lee grew up in Brooklyn and along with three of his best high school friends, they all hosted their annual Tour De Brooklyn yet again.
The Tour De Brooklyn is a New Year's Eve tradition where all of Lee's high school friends make a special drink at their house, and we hop from house to house on New Year's Eve.
First Stop: The awkwardness that comes with introducing lots of people that barely know each other and spiced bourbon cider to heat things up a little.
Second Stop: Everyone warming up to each other and whiskey iced tea with flamingo straws.
Intermission: Photo-op at the promenade.
Third Stop: Drinking games. Lots and lots of drinking games with new BFFs. And arm wrestling competitions. And clap push ups. Also still a flamingo straw.
Fourth Stop: Mojitos, German chocolate cake shots, and pizza. Lots of pictures. Ha. And of course, midnight!
